Avis Helps to put loveLife on the Road
Avis recently handed over a vehicle to loveLife as part of their long standing relationship with the non-government organisation (NGO). The vehicle will be used to advance loveLife’s work in educating and creating awareness about HIV/AIDS and related diseases amongst the youth.
loveLife is South Africa’s largest national HIV/AIDS prevention initiative for young people. The NGO combines a sustained high-powered campaign with nationwide community-level outreach and support programmes to promote healthy, HIV-free living among South African teenagers.
Avis Executive of Sales, Lance Smith says “Avis acknowledges the work that loveLife does in educating the youth about being safe and reducing their chances of contracting HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. Organisations such as loveLife play an important role in shaping our society and Avis endeavours to assist them in reaching their goals”.
Avis’ involvement with loveLife signifies the rental vehicle company’s commitment to people being more important than cars.
